What are the opening hours of the CODE_n new.New Festival?

The CODE_n new.New Festival will open its doors from 9 a.m to 6 p.m., followed by evening events. For more information please check the full schedule at www.newnewfestival.com/program.

Where is the CODE_n new.New Festival taking place?

The innovation festival will take place all over Karlsruhe. The Main Event will be at the ZKM – Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe (Lorenzstraße 19, 76135 Karlsruhe). Please be aware that the entrance of the ZKM is on Brauerstraße.

How do you get to ZKM by public transport?

The ZKM can be reached by taking the S-Bahn (tram line) from Karlsruhe main station (Hauptbahnhof). Line 2 goes to “ZKM - Siemensallee”, exit at “ZKM”, travel time 6 minutes. You can also take the bus line 55 from Karlsruhe main station into direction “Kühler Krug”, exit at “Lorenzstraße-ZKM”.

Is the festival area accessible?

The event site will be fully accessible for people with limited mobility. In addition, festival staff will provide help whenever it is needed.

Where can I park my car?

You can park your car for a fee in one of the following parking garages:

  • ZKM: Südendstraße 44, 76135 Karlsruhe
  • Filmpalast am ZKM: Brauerstraße 40, 76135 Karlsruhe
  • Europahalle: Hermann-Veit-Straße, 76135 Karlsruhe

Where can I eat at the CODE_n new.New Festival?

You will find several food trucks on site at the event in front of the ZKM as well as a bistro and several coffee corners inside the ZKM.

I want to attend the CODE_n new.New Festival as a media representative. Who do I contact?

If you are a media representative or a blogger, just select the category “Media” when placing your order and you will receive a free entrance ticket. You will need to upload some proof of your profession when making your purchase. If you need any further information, feel free to contact our communications team (press@code-n.org).

Will there be filming and photographers on the festival area?

Photographs will be taken and film recordings will be made during the event. Speeches will be streamed live through various websites (e.g., CODE_n, its official partners, YouTube). By entering the premises where the event will be held, the Participant agrees to the publication of digital media without fee or payment and without requirement for the express agreement of the Participant. In the event that the Participant does not agree with any such publication of images or video material, he or she is kindly requested to inform GFT in advance by writing to events@code-n.org.

What is included in the CODE_n new.New Festival ticket?

The festival ticket entitles you to access all public areas within the event site. It also entitles you to attend the extensive conference program on the Main Stage, the Innovation Stage and the four Side Stages. Furthermore, it gives you admission to the CODE_n Award Show on September 21, assuming you have a valid ticket for that day.

Is local public transportation included in the ticket?

If you have a valid festival ticket you can use all public transportation within the entire KVV network (Karlsruhe Transport Network). Please take your printed ticket with you and show it to inspectors whenever you are asked to do so. The online passbook ticket does not enable you to use the public transportation for free. KVV terms and conditions apply.

What kind of tickets can I purchase?

You can either buy Festival Passes or Day Passes.

Festival Passes give you admission to the festival for the entire duration of the event, as well as the Afterwork event and pub crawl planned for September 20. They also cover the CODE_n16 Award show on September 21, plus the closing concert and Schlosslichtspiele on September 22.

With a Day Pass, you can attend the festival (and all events scheduled for that day) on the day the ticket is valid.

Are the tickets for the CODE_n new.New Festival transferable?

Yes, the CODE_n new.New Festival tickets are transferable. To transfer your ticket to someone else please contact support@xing-events.com or call +49 (8955) 273-5813 (toll-free).

Is the CODE_n new.New Festival refundable?

Unfortunately, the tickets for the festival are non-refundable. However, they are transferable to other people.

Which is the right ticket for me?

This brief overview will help you choose the right ticket:

Startups: You are the founder or a member of a new enterprise? Choose the “Startups” option when you buy your ticket.

Students: You are still at school or are currently enrolled at a university? Just choose the category “Students” and you will benefit from a special student discount. Please make sure to bring a valid student ID card with you on the day of the festival.

Media: Do you plan to attend the festival as a media representative or a blogger? For free media registration, please contact: press@code-n.org.

Corporates & others: Will you be representing a company or do you not fit into any of the other categories? Then “Corporates & others” is the right option for you.
